first snow of the year

a world away from the sun, the sand and the surf of oz

we woke this morning to discover, just as we had predicted

Tokyo snow !!
the first tokyo snow of the year infact. its a little later this year (actually one day too late - had it snowed yesterday i could have had the day off work!)

as gorgeous and exciting as it is, i dont think i will be out sleigh riding in the winter wonderland
so think i might just curl up with a steaming hot bowl of ocha zuke (green tea and seaweed on rice) and continue to study how to take over the world!
